Jessica's new film Right Footed chronicles her amazing story of overcoming adversity and follows her over a period of two years as she becomes a mentor for children with disabilities and their families, and a disability rights advocate working in the U.S.A. and abroad. In recognition of her achievements, California Supreme Court Chief Justice Tani Cantil-Sakauye (U.S. FWN100™ '07) received the 2016 Morton A. Brody Distinguished Judicial Service Award. The honor has been given biennially since 2001 to “an outstanding United States federal or state judge who embodies the qualities of integrity, compassion, humanity, and judicial craftsmanship;” qualities which underscored Judge Brody’s life.
