Cancellation Policy/Transfer Policy

Cancellation Policy

- Daily rates are nonrefundable.
- Congratulatory ads are nonrefundable.
- Additional-fee event tickets are nonrefundable.

Cancellations must be made in writing and emailed to filipina@ffwn.org. Cancellations until Sept. 30, 2009 will be granted an 80-percent refund of your paid registration (excluding membership dues). Cancellations received after Sept. 30, 2009, and no-shows are nonrefundable. No exceptions will be made. FWN will process all refunds 7 business days after the summit.

Transfer Policy

1) Email your transfer request to filipina@ffwn.org with the person's name and contact information before Oct. 15, 2009.

2) If a FWN member transfers her registration to a nonmember, the nonmember must do one of two things: a) Pay the difference of the member and nonmember price at the time of transfer, or b) become a FWN member at the time of transfer.

When making hotel reservations, be sure to mention you will be attending the Filipina Women's Network Filipina Summit.

FWN special room rate: $149 single/double occupancy (plus any applicable taxes and individual charges).

Hotel parking
Parking is available on-site.  If you are registered for the entire / full summit, hotel parking is complimentary for the duration of the summit (Oct 29 thru Nov 1).  Parking validation stickers will be available when you check-in at the FWN summit registration desk (savings of $24 + taxes / day).

Important:  The cut-off date for the FWN hotel special rate is Sept. 30, 2009.  After that date, reservations will be taken on a space available basis only.  We recommend making your reservation early as it is likely the hotel will book up quickly.  October is considered a high travel season in California.

Airline Reservations
FWN recognizes that its members prefer a choice in air travel.  Travel Daly, a small business owned by FWN member, Aurora Daly,  is FWN's official travel agency for the summit. You can get prompt, efficient service ordering your tickets through Travel Daly.  Two ways to reach Aurora at Travel Daly:

Travel Requirements
(for non-U.S. citizens and permanent residents)

Confirmation Letter
FWN will provide confirmation letters upon request only to individuals who are already registered and paid for the FWN Filipina Summit.  You can use your confirmation letter for your visa arrangements.
