Filipina Social Entrepreneur Dr. Cristina Liamzon Receives Global Fairness Award

Dr. Cristina Liamzon, program coordinator of the Leadership and Social Entrepreneurship (LSE) Program for Overseas Filipinos and their Families is one of three recipients of this year’s Global Fairness Award. 

Launched in 2010 by the Global Fairness Initiatve (GFI), the Global Fairness Award honors individuals who “highlight the power of bringing together top-down opportunity and bottom-up leadership to drive change”.

"Artisan Made Philippines will hold its first pop-up event, which will bring several Philippine-based fashion and lifestyle enterprises to Los Angeles. The event is the brainchild of social entrepreneur Kristine Surla, founder and creative director of the organization, which was inspired by her Filipino heritage.
